Boston Legal- 1. Different
Boston legal is a drama which is set on a somewhat idiosyncratic legal firm, Crane, Pool & Schmidt. It focuses on the romances and the tribulations which the people inside the law firm goes through. The protagonist Alan Shore is a high-end defense attorney who is rather something of a casa nova superficially, while in reality having softness and romantic side within.
This drama is not exactly a comedy. It is actually more of a social-issue drama, which dealt with the social problems by having the court cases be focused on the problems that the producers(probably) deemed inappropriate.

What?
The purpose of this blog is to jot down my impressions on TV series(dramas) that I have watched. I will post mainly three kinds of posts, depending on what aspect of the series it depicts.
The first kind is the format of the episodes. What I have realized during the past years of ardently watching these was that there are certain repetition in the formats of the longer lasting dramas. How each episode fits into the format yet adds enough detail to push the episode forward is a matter that would be very helpful for me in progressing with my works.The second kind is the analysis on what makes it tick the viewers. Or in other case, what it makes the viewers not tick. What aspects of the drama makes the viewers so intrigued that they are compelled to stay seated during the whole episode and forced to watch the upcoming episodes as well. I would like to analyze the jokes that are in the series.The last kind is the analysis on what makes a good story. Sure this category could be, strictly speaking part of the second category, but this is a very important aspect of a drama, one that requires a thorough analysis. The second category would be more about the technical aspects that makes the viewers addict, such as the format's role or the music and stuff. but the third would be strictly about the story, and nothing else.
I am not completely sure if I will be able to describe a whole series of a TV show in a single post, but once again, these posts are not summaries. These will, hopefully work as sources of inspirations when creating my own stories.
